STREETS! Hey we all use 'em, everyday....well, you know, unless you're like, erm, bed-bound or something.
Ageing enamel / tinplate Guinness sign, Keeneys Bar, Glenties.
pretty in pink.
Doorway in Watford, whatever was going to happen...isn't anymore.
Corner of Queens and 65th. ave'you got a light boy?
Classic signage, simple, clear and obvious.
Expertly painted. The chemist...Glenties, Donegal. Not surprising Glenties keep winning the tidy towns award. great work.
Billboard...Times Square. New York...not renowned for its modest sense of understatement, this advertising board laid on the ground, would cover an area roughly the size of Belgium.
Quality graffiti in Nerja, Spain. Cute, fluffy and very very urban...you don't get that kind of stuff in Luton.
Out Building / shed - Sheil Hospital - Ballyshannon.
Photographing and publishing images of graffiti glamourises criminal activity and reflects on narrowing artistic horizons throughout society...
DISCUSS.
personally this caught my eye instantly. I was drawn to the colour and the contrast of textures immediately. maybe its the Urban Homie in me coming out at last. Yeah dudes. laterz innit?
Superb piece of window engraving...inside looking out, the "The Fleet" Killybegs.
To capture this image it was necessary to spend some time in the actual bar itself drinking considerable amounts of chilled Heineken.
As pastimes go, this is certainly one we'd recommend.
